Sir Keir Starmer is the first UK Labour Party Prime Minister for 14 years. His major aim is to bring about much-needed change to the country, and, after only 12 days in government, he has proven his commitment to the espousal of the Labour Party’s philosophy. Today’s King’s Speech confirms and reinforces what his astrological profile tells us about his clarity of vision and commitment to true Labour values. I am supplying a short astrological profile for him, based on both Western and Chinese astrology, which confirms the qualities he has displayed since he became leader of the Labour Party in April 2020. Keir Starmer was born on 2 September, 1962, in Southwark, London. His Chinese sign is Water Tiger, and his Western Zodiac sign is Virgo. However, his Sun is in Leo, due to Precession (see my website www.astrolations.co.uk for an explanation). He has Moon in Libra, Mercury in Libra, and Venus in Libra. That’s a lot of Libra! His Mars is in Cancer, making him often inclined to back down in the face of unpleasant arguments, sometimes taking offensive comments too personally. His Libra Moon provides him with his undoubted diplomatic skills, as well as a civil and charming persona. However, he may be something of a people-pleaser at times. His Mercury in Libra provides him with his legal brain, and his sense of fairness. Venus in Libra means that he is an appreciator of beauty, and is committed to equal opportunities. His Chinese sign of Water Tiger makes him egalitarian, humane, possibly reformist, analytical, and thoughtful. Finally, his Virgo Zodiac lends him the sense of reserve we have seen over the last months, but his Leo Sun provides him with the positivity to believe in himself and have courage in carrying ideas forward. Sir Keir has a very equable balance of elements, which I consider important within one’s astrological make-up. He has two signs in Water, including Cardinal Water Cancer, three in Cardinal Air, one in Mutable Earth, one in Fixed Fire, and one in the Chinese element of Wood, being the essential element of Tiger, and known to be the element of compassion. Although I do not know his exact time of birth, which would supply his Rising sign, as well as his Chinese Ascendant, I am guessing that it could be an Earth sign, possibly Capricorn, giving him the gravitas he displays in his bearing. So, a great balance of elements in a PM who has already set out his clear vision for Great Britain’s future.
